Catholic and Roman Catholic church records from towns in the districts around
Tarnopol in Galizien, Austria. The register also includes reference to some Russian
Orthodox church records from towns in Volhynia province, Russia. These towns
were later in Tarnopol province, Poland and later in Ternopil oblast, Ukraine.

Catholic, although many are actually Greek Catholic.

5) The Archiwum i Biblioteka Kurii Arcybiskupiej Lubaczów in Lubaczów,
(in Podkarpackie province) was one of only few locations in the Roman Catholic
Archdiocese of Lwow/Lviv to remain within Poland when the national boundaries
were redrawn in 1945. The church archive which was established there became a
depository for many of the parish records from the archdiocese. In 1984 an inventory
of these was drawn up.
This inventory has been microfilmed by the LDS-FHL INTL

7) Original manuscripts at the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in
L′viv known as the Greek Catholic Consistory. L′vov/Lviv (Record
group 201, series 4a, contains files 1-6081, 6083, 6085-6089, 6091-6126, 6128-7421).
Contains the Greek Catholic and Orthodox registers of births, marriages, and
deaths from localities in Austria or Russia; later Poland; later yet Belarus
